Harbinger of Darkness is a Coffee infused Molé hot sauce that we dreamt up many moons ago along with our friends from Fuzz Coffee Roasters. Fuzz also hails from San Diego and they roast some of the finest coffee we’ve ever had. Their Raw Power blend has notes of chocolate, orange, and caramel and is the perfect companion for the deep roasted flavors of the grilled tortillas, toasted chiles and spices, and rich Mexican chocolate. The sweetness from the carmelized plantains, raisins, and dates balances the roasty bitterness and makes for a one of a kind sauce with unmatched complexity and decadence.
